Verde River Inflatable Kayak Rental/Shuttle

(For a Do-It-Yourself Verde River Adventure)

We deliver your duckie, paddles and PFD’s to the river for you and pick them up at the end of your Verde River trip. Last boat pick up is at 4 pm.

Meet our shuttle driver at Beasley Flats River Access Point (RAP) in Camp Verde (see map below). Here you park your vehicle, load up your food, water and personal gear into the shuttle vehicle and we drive you and the duckies up river to Clear Creek (RAP) to begin your Verde River adventure. Your driver’s license is you security deposit for the duckie and will be returned van to you at the completion of your rental.

Your River Trip is about 5 miles and can be anywhere from 2 to 4 hours depending on river conditions, and whether you stop for a picnic or to swim. Your river trip on the Verde River ends at Beasley Flats (RAP) where your vehicle is parked.kayakGuy

Upon completion of your Verde River adventure uses your cell phone to call our local pick up driver (who lives about 10 minutes away). While you wait clean off the duckie and equipment ($25.00 cleaning fee per boat if left dirty) and bring the duckie and gear up to the boat loading area. We will meet you to collect all your gear return your driver’s license and free you up to enjoy the rest of the day. Our last Verde River rental pick up departs Beasley Flats (RAP) at 4 PM.

Should you arrive after 4 PM, you will clean off and deflate the duckies, load them in your vehicle and return all the gear back to our Boathouse in West Sedona. Inflatable Kayaks and gear must be returned by close of business or next morning by 8am.

Price: Tandems:( 2 person) $157.00* per duckie, per day (includes shuttle)

Sample Itinerary:

9:00 to 9:15 Depart Sedona for Beasley Flats River Access Point (RAP) in Camp Verde (1 hour drive about 40 miles)

10:15 to 10:30 Arrive Beasley Flats (RAP) meet shuttle driver transfer to shuttle vehicle

10:45 Depart Beasley Flats for Clear Creek River (RAP)

11:00 Arrive Clear Creek (RAP) unload boats and gear

11:15 Launch on your Verde River adventure

1:30 Stop for lunch on the lush banks of the Verde River

3:30 Arrive at Beasley Flats (RAP). Go to your vehicle in the parking lot get your cell phone and call our local pickup driver. Return to the river, unload boats and bring all gear up to the boat ramp for pick up.

3:40 Pickup driver arrives inspect rental gear returns drivers license and you are off to enjoy another adventure in the Verde Valley.


Boat Rental

(Do It Yourself, Non-Shuttled River Trip)

We have single Inflatable Kayaks for adults or tandems. We will provide you with the appropriate gear, which includes life jacket, helmet, paddle, and water cannon. Maps and directions to the river are provided at the boathouse.

Price: Singles: $37.00 per boat, per day (no shuttles)

Price: Tandems: (2 person) $57.00 per boat, per day (no shuttle)

After your float trip down the beautiful Verde River, you will deflate the boats, load them in your vehicle and return the kayaks and all the gear back to our Boathouse in West Sedona.

Our rental boat pick up are scheduled the night before your river trip day between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm. If you need to pick up your duckies the day of your rental please pick up after 9:00 am

Returning rental check in is between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm the day of your rental or return after 9:00 am the day after you river trip day.

Sedona Adventure Tours can provide boat and gear rentals and shuttle service to other spots further down the Verde River (Childs and Horseshoe Reservoir), The Salt River, and the San Juan in southern Utah. Please contact the boathouse in West Sedona for rates and availability.
